Why you should take the exam?

  1. The exam is fard, i.e. mandatory in Al Maghrib terminology.
  2. The exam is required in order to get credits towards an Al Maghrib degree.
  3. The exam is a great way to review the class material and internalize it.

When is the next exam?

Class: Collector’s Edition.

Date: Sunday, Feb 19, 2012

Time: 9am to 9pm PST

What to do before exam?

It is encouraged to do the following before 4pm EST on the Thursday before your exam:

  1. Visit www.almaghrib.org
  2. Check if your log-in information as described above works. If not, please e-mail registrar@almaghrib.org.
  3. Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
  4. Verify that there is an ‘Exam’ button next to the class you will be taking the exam for.  If not, please e-mail registrar@almaghrib.org with payment details. Please note, that if you have not registered and paid, you will NOT be able to take the exam.

**Registrar is only available during business hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm EST

How to take the exam?

  1. Go to www.almaghrib.org
  2. Enter the e-mail address and password you used to register with AlMaghrib.
  3. If you are not auto-redirected to your ‘My AlMaghrib’ account, click on the ‘My AlMaghrib’ link at the top.
  4. Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
  5. Scroll down to the class that you are taking the exam for.
  6. Click the ‘Exam’ button. Your exam will be available to take between 9am-9pm of your time zone.
  7. IMPORTANT:  you will only be able to open your exam ONCE.
  8. Proceed with answering the questions by selecting the best answer; the entire exam is multiple choice.

How to defer exam?

  1. Go to www.almaghrib.org
  2. Enter the e-mail address and password you used to register with AlMaghrib.
  3. If you are not auto-redirected to your ‘My AlMaghrib’ account, click on the ‘My AlMaghrib’ link at the top.
  4. Click on the ‘Seminars’ tab.
  5. Scroll down to the class that you are taking the exam for.
  6. Click the ‘Requests’ button. (This button is next to the ‘Exam’ button).

Where do I get help on exam day?

For any technical difficulties on the day of the exam, please e-mail techsupport@almaghrib.org.  

If the course or ‘Exam’ button do not appear in your ‘My AlMaghrib’ account, please e-mail registrar@almaghrib.org.  (Registrar is only available during business hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm EST.
